Biography

Gary Jedynak is a co-founder of Summerhill Associates and has setup quality teams and quality systems in a wide spectrum of high tech and manufacturing technologies: e-learning, scientific measurement, bio-medical devices, avionics, printed & integrated circuit fabrication, and web printing processes.
In software development as well as discrete manufacture he strives to implement these methods paying close attention to working with leaders to make processes simple, glance visible, and economical. He believes when people understand the processes they own, the processes and operators become more capable and profitable. He has extensive experience implementing processes in a distributed environment.
Gary is founder of Collaborative for Software Developers and Innovators. See CSDI.
Gary has worked with Elaine for many years to show the benefits of a people oriented/developmental staging approach to implementation of any new system or process. With this approach new growth is added to existing capability recognizing the practicalities at each level of growth. Starting over or extensive retraining or documentation is not necessary. Things that don't work are eliminated and gaps are filled by use of quality methods to build a system that works better each day. People thus understand where they are and where they are going at an accelerating pace. The focus is on people understanding the systems they are building from the ground up.
Gary received his BSEE degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
